Brazilian Senate and House of Representatives

The Senate's main role is to create and vote on laws. The Senate also approves or disapproves foreign trade. The representatives of other states in the Senate is not determined by population or economic power of the state. All states have three representatives. The Federal District also has three representatives. The Senate's function is to make laws. Without laws, the country would be in chaos.

The House of Representatives is somewhat similar to the Senate. Unlike the Senate, the amount of representatives varies by population of each state. The House of Representatives is also known as the lower house of legislatures. The role of The House of Representatives is to represent their state. If each state does not have an opinion, then the citizens of that state will be very unhappy and there will be little democracy since that state does not have an opinion.
